So here’s the thing. Everybody is saying that this episode confirmed Lisbon is in love with Jane. I agree. But I think it also confirmed he’s in love with her.
He’s a mentalist and he knows she is in love with him. Would he be so cruel to touch her like that at the end scene, knowing perfectly well how much his touch actually means to her? No. He would never lead her on if he didn’t reciprocate those feelings. He respects her too much for that.
